  1. I hope your wrong about Vertonghen and Dier. Their legs are gone and Vertonghen lack of pace was exposed vs United. Jose needs time to train with the boys. We been playing too often for him to get quality practice time to sort out defense. We also need defensive transfers Asap

  2. Let’s hope we can get back to winning ways today 🤞🏼🤞🏼. Whatever happens let’s just remember Jose needs TIME to implement his ideas and sort out that awful defense . If anybody can sort it it’s him…. COYS ⚽️🐓

  3. We should give Son or Kane rest. No more energy to defend again. I think Ryan Sses can do Sonnys position which is LM-LB. Actually he is better than Sonny in this role. Right side No more Aurier. We need to test Foith.

  4. Lamela needs to be sold, I don't think he's even had a full season since he joined the club. I would play a 4-1-4-1 formation for this game, Paulo, Aurier, Toby, Jan, Rose, Ndombele, Lucas, Lo Celso, Dele, Son, Kane. Burnley may come and park the bus like they did at Wembley, let's just drop a defensive player for an attacking player which will be Lo Celso coming in to break up what could be a stubborn defence.

  5. Lo celso needs to start playing. Got a few big fixtures coming up I'd give Kane a rest.Hes the only player never to be rested, it's just a matter of time before he picks up another injury. Burnley at home, you would think we would get 3 points without him.

  6. I think he may put Aurier on the left and Foyth at RB, that has been mentioned by jose before. I dont know if Jan can play 3 on the bounce. I'd move Sonny to the right and put Lo Celso on the left, just for a refreshing change up

  7. My lineup would be Gazza, Foyth, Toby, Sanchez, Sessegnon, Dier, Ndombele, Son, Dele, Lo Celso, Kane.
I think Sessegnon could play a similar role that Aurier has been playing only on the Left Side. With Foyth staying back on the right to form a back 3 in defense. Burnley have a lot of injuries at the moment. Spurs should try something new besides pinging balls over the top. I doubt he will pick this side, but I'd like to see it. I even think Foyth could play at CDM, hes better on the ball than Dier.

  8. Good line up. I think I agree. Want to see Sessignon and Lo Celso come on in the second half. We can't just ignore Sessignon. But both of them will probably get a run in Germany next week.

    COYS!

  9. Burnley will just park the bus, as they always do against us. Everyone knows we cant break down packed defences. Towards the end they'll probably launch high balls into their big men in the box and nick a late winning goal.

    1-2 loss.

  10. Sissoko on the wing is a bad idea unless he's playing wingback. Remember when Poch always played him in the wing and was bad until he moved him to the midfield. His best position is in the middle also we need someone who can create chance on the wing so Eriksen or Lo Celso if Lamela wasnt injured i would put him there

  11. Spurs problems are in the midfield. Nabil Bentaleb cannot get a game for Schalke due to discipline issues. Spurs should throw him a January lifeline in my opinion. Failing that perhaps Victor Wanyama could be re-integrated into the group. Sissoko has been better in the last few months but he is now 30 and long term Spurs need younger legs in the engine room. Sissoko and Winks are both very poor at tackling as their stats confirm. Bentaleb and Ndombele would be ideal in my opinion. My other view on Mourinho's tactics so far are that Vertonghen should play as the left sided centre back and not at left back. Alderweireld and Sanchez should only be rotated at right sided centre back. Sessegnon deserves a chance at left back. A lot of moans about Aurier but again I feel he is an easy target. He is by far the best player Spurs have in respect of making successful tackles. Aurier is also, statistically, Spurs best player for putting crosses into the box. Spurs need more players making tackles in the defence and midfield; especially in central areas of the pitch.
